Mirago operates search engines for the UK, France, Germany and Spain. They generate their own website indexes from which their results are drawn, and these appear on, amongst others, Ask Jeeves, Tiscali, Dogpile and UK Net Guide.
Their Pay Per Click bidding system is managed by a unique advertising management too, the Mirago Media Manager (M3). Bulk submissions are accepted via a spreadsheet and you can choose to have your site titles and summaries professionally written and your keywords selected for you. Thanks to Mirago’s Regional Search facility you can also target users who are searching for products and services within specific geographical locations of the UK.
As well as PPC advertising, Mirago offers a Search Partner scheme. With this, you can incorporate the search results into your website and earn a percentage of the revenue your traffic generates. All documentation is online in your Developers Toolkit, but there is a dedicated sales and support team who are there to help you maximize your ROI and advise you on how best to incorporate the results into your site. If you don’t want to include the results on your site, then you can install a search box which generates the results on the Mirago website whilst still logging the traffic to your account.
As a Search Partner, you can also offer your users the Mirago SearchBar to download. This search box sits in the toolbar of the browser, and if a user has downloaded the SearchBar from your page, then any search they perform through it is logged to your account’s traffic.
By logging in to your account on the Mirago website you can easily track the revenue on your accounts and run off reports on your traffic. This allows you access to your account details twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
