Some people are great at writing novels and other people are wonderful informational article writers. But it takes a special kind of writer to write SEO friendly keyword articles. Not everyone is cut out to be an SEO writer, just like some people aren’t cut out to be the next great novelist! In fact, some people just aren’t writers, but that shouldn’t stop them from opening their own online business or website.
There are thousands of freelance writers and SEO companies that specialize in keyword articles. If you don’t feel comfortable writing your own content, it might be a good idea to hire one of these individuals or companies to help you along.
Keyword SEO writing is basically a formula. Most SEO articles are 300-500 words in length. It’s pretty much a waste of time to make them longer than that, but you can if you like.

1. Keyword Density:
Figure out the amount of keywords you want included in your article. Generally, 1%-3% is a good number to work with. You can buy software that will help you to figure out the best keywords and phrases to use in your SEO article. However, you can also figure it out on your own, without the expense. Just try to figure out what search words or phrases someone would type into a search engine, if they were trying to find what you offered.
For instance, if you owned a dating website that catered to mature adults, you could try “dating,” “mature dating,” “dating over 35,” or “singles dating.” It’s up to you, but figuring out the search words or phrases is a critical part of any SEO writer’s job.
3. Spelling And Grammar:
Make your text readable. Search engines may not care if your content is grammatically incorrect, but readers sure will. Creating clean copy is essential if you want your readers to take you seriously.
4. Keyword Placement:
Your keyword or phrase should appear in the title. It should also appear within the first paragraph of your article, preferably within the first 90 characters. Now insert the key phrase throughout the rest of the article. Your key phrase or word should appear between 1-3 times per every 100 words. A good trick to learn when writing SEO articles is to highlight or bold the keywords or phrases. This helps you to keep track of how many times you use them, with just a glance.
That’s the basics of SEO writing. By using these tips, you should be well on your way to creating clean, search engine friendly content for your website.
